PAY SUPERANNUATION - Invalid ABN for SMSF

We had to change the ESA on a SMSF so we changed the original SMSF to Old and produced a new SMSF with all the same details but changing the ESA. We then applied the new SMSF with new ESA to the Employee card. We then processed payroll & went to process the super payment to find that we have an error saying the ABN is wrong & will not process.  It is the same ABN as processed previously the only thing that was changed on the new SMSF was the ESA. Could you please advise how I can get around this?  Thanks Jan

    Thanks for your post. 

     

    When you created the SMSF with new ESA, did you copy and paste the details? I highly suggest to enter manually the details You can also check The Help Article Set up superannuation funds as it will provide you the steps on how to a self managed super fund. Please let me know how it goes.
