SMSF don't have membership numbers, but MYOB requires one. What should I use here? Does it matter what I enter?

When you're setting up a new super fund in your MYOB file, you'll want to select Lists > Superannuation Funds > New. In the window there's a field named Type with a dropdown menu, select Self-managed from the available options and you should see the relevant fields for an SMSF. Thank you for responding Amanda, however your response is simply a copy and paste of information widely available online and does not answer my question.
I have already set up the super fund. Nowhere in that process does it require a member number.
it is when applying the super fund to an employee, within the employee card, that a member number is required to be entered.
this is where I am uncertain what to enter. SMSFs only have one member, so I’m assuming I can enter 1? But I can find no information about this online.
