Please run Script ASAP - Payroll for new Fin Year

Hi,

 

Could you please run a script over our MYOB AccountRight file as it keeps crashing when I'm trying to process my first pay for the new Financial Year. This happens every year and can only be fixed when someone from MYOB support runs a script over my file.

 

I press the process pay button at the end of completing pay and it just crashes. It doesnt take me to the next step or generate any payslips or STP information. Here is the error message:

 

 Is this something that MYOB could address in future releases? It has been 4 years in a row that this has happened to us now.

 

The last 4 digits of our serial number is 5004. Please advise when complete, this is an urgent matter, need to pay staff. Appreciate the assistance.

 

 

Company File ID is 1.

  • We are having the same issue as well, happened last two years also and a script was run each time for us.

     

    However this time - we just had a very disappointing call with MYOB - waiting in queue for 1 hour, only to tell us that the issue is due to us having more than 119 employees and that their solution is to redraft all pay runs in smaller batches (we were processing pay for 266 employees, and never had an issue with this amount & more in the last 51 fortnights of pay). They also escalated the issue for me, saying that I will get an email response in 3-5 business days which is frankly just not good enough. Employees need to be paid today.

     

    This timing out issue has happened every year over multiple years with multiple users having this issue and yet this has not yet been addressed.

     

    Could MYOB please assist as soon as possible?

     

    Additionally, if you click 'Retry' on the screenshot above, it duplicated all the pay runs in the other payroll file that we were using (145 employees). Which is a huge waste of time to reverse out all duplicated pay runs one by one because of this software bug.

    Hi rachelpd,

     

    Dealing with this issue four years in a row must be frustrating, especially with staff waiting to be paid. Thanks for sharing the details and those last four digits of your serial number. To get this sorted, we’ll need to run a fix script on your company file. The quickest way to get that rolling is by hopping onto Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA, where our team can jump in and help. As for whether this issue will be addressed in future releases, there’s no update on that yet.

    I cannot find livechat  -  please just run the script so I can use the product we pay for that doesn't work every year.
