Returned superannuation contributions

Good Afternoon

 

I had an employee SGC returned and followed the instructions on the "returned superannuation contributions" support sheet, however when I go to Pay Super the super contributions do not show.  I have put in a wide date range but no contributions come up.

 

It does appear in Pay Liabilities but this will not forward the payment to the Super Fund.

 

Please advise how to fix, thanks.

    Hey Terri520,

     

    Thanks for checking the Pay Super window— you're definitely on the right track. Just a quick heads-up though, returned super payments are best handled through the Manage Payments screen. That's where you can properly reverse the original transaction so it all lines up again. Here's a handy link to guide you through the process. Make sure to choose "Desktop" from the link. Once that's sorted, you'll be able to reprocess the payment and it should show up as expected.

    Hi Doreen

     

    I use the online version of Accountright Plus and actually, did the link details " Reversing and Reprocessing superannuation payments" for desktop but the SGC contributions didn't show in Pay Super.   I assumed I did it wrong and followed the "returned super contributions" which still doesn't show in Pay Super.  

     

    Now probably have doubled in my liabilities account.  

     

    I did notice that there is no reversal in my Super Payments??

Double check both guides again and make sure you’ve followed everything correctly.
