STP Error code

My payroll report on STP reads Rejected with the following comment:

We experienced an unanticipated failure while communicating with the Agency.

(ATO error code:

6d9598fabc2e48c1efafa74d23a296b8e1e500e4ac45adff4050a6c63fa290ce

Does anyone know how to rectify this so it does not happen next time?

    Hey Ck63,

Thanks for sharing the details of the error you're seeing with your STP report. While I haven't come across that exact ATO error code before, you're definitely not alone in encountering issues like this during STP submissions. That said, I have here a helpful link that lists common STP error codes and what they mean. Once you've found the error code, there's a recommended action or fix you can follow. If none of the listed error codes match yours, you can reach out to our support team directly on Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA, or by submitting a support case via MyAccount.

    Cheers,

    Doreen

  • Hi Folks,

STP2 has been horror show for us.

    ATO say MYOB is faulty

MYOB dont know how to fix.

    Freaking circus of MYOB support

issue 1   We have stp batches that have been rejected by the ATO - MYOB reckon it was caused by a wayward character in an employee address (more like poor programming).

Reconciled to the last cent, 3 stuck batches, Payroll activity = Payroll registry = summary of payments, does not equal STP.

    Nufties cant fix.

Issue 2  STP is allocating income and tax to the wrong employee.  Payroll activity = Payroll registry = summary of payments =  STP, but different in Mygov

    Nufties cant fix.

Thanks for listening (cause thats all you get with MYOB).
