I just had the same issue. I logged on to MYOB through my practice login so I wonder if it might be a user permission issue. I will visit the client tomorrow and see if it works on theirs.

Yes, it worked perfectly on the clients PC. So it is clearly a restriction on the practice login.

In this regard, there may be client in your database whose information you want to keep private and only grant access to certain members of your practice.
As a MYOB Practice Administrator, you can prevent other personnel from seeing specific clients in MYOB Practice. You can check out this Help Article: Restricting user access to clients, this contains detailed information that you can use as a reference.
