you need to enter a valid employee membership number for this employee

Trying to pay employee super.

The follow error is appearing: you need to enter a valid employee membership number for this employee

We have double checked the employee membership number, USI and ABN.

Can you please help? What are we missing?

    Hi BecK87

So under your superannuation fund it will show the SPIN/USI, ABN and EmployeR membership no.  But if you go into the Employee card then click the tab Payroll Details then click on the Superannuation tab and make sure the employeE membership no is in there(this number should be different to the number under the superfund). I think the message your getting is appearing either because there is no employee membership number here or the number is incorrect. Hope that makes sense.

    Hi BecK87

Thank you for your post. I'd like to extend you a warm welcome to the Community Forum. I hope you find it a valuable resource.

As Anewbee has mentioned, this employee membership number can be found in the Employee Payroll details by going to Payroll >> select Employees >> select the Name of the employee >> click Payroll detail >> Superannuation > enter the Employee membership no.
