I wish to open my file however i have been told i have to renew my subscription first!
I cant afford the monthly subscription and purchased my software outright many years ago. I dont need to store my files on-line.
Is there any way to open my file without the need for Verification?
Any help greatly appreciated.

File Verification is a process for MYOB V19 files (File > Verify Company file) - this process checks the integrity of the file and does not require a subscription etc, and can be switched off or skipped.
You may be referring to file Confirmation, the process MYOB uses to ensure you are using a valid licence. If you have a perpetual licence for the serial number in the company file - 'purchased my software outright many years ago' - then you do not need a subscription to Confirm your company file.
File Confirmation cannot be turned off. Please advise what version of MYOB you are using (see Help > About AccountRight) as the process of file Confirmation depends on what version your are using, and what operating system you are using (windows 10, 7 XP etc)

Windows 11 should not have any issues retrieving online confirmation, so if you cannot confirm online, you may need to do request it by phone. MYOB would need to email you an xml file with your licence details to confirm your file.
