Forum Discussion
Hi Amanda,
Can you please reply to me regarding the new inactivity every 20 to 30 minutes. The attached from the ATO website states.
NOTE: The DSP OSF is not intended to capture the end user who owns the data and does not perform a functional role in the supply chain, such as a business using software to run their daily operations.
Can you please reply
Hi Jo15 , I'm confirming with our team about a response on this for you.
I have mentioned previously that we work alongside the ATO when developing and implementing changes to align with their guidelines.
There are a lot of scenarios that the ATO need to provide information for in their guidelines, however for MYOB because we are a SaaS business these are the guidelines we adhere to as a DSP.
I expect that it is because our software has the capability of connecting to the ATO for payroll and BAS, therefore must adhere to the security guidelines, even if those workflows are not being used by the end user.
If I receive an update from the team that differs from the above or can shed any more information, I will be sure to updated you.

Hi Mike,
I have been doing some research today! Only Myob have the 20-30 minute lockout! We are going to source other software for our business's as Myob have become unusable and labour intensive for our Multi company business with Trade only Myob's at our retail stores! If your product is not efficient, we cannot support it.
Thanks for your help!
