Cease subscription

We’re currently in the process of moving from MYOB AccountRight to another accounting system.

Just wondering for anyone who has done this before — once you cancelled MYOB, were you still able to access your MYOB file and historical data? If so, for how long?

We’d obviously like to keep access to the old records in case we need to look back at invoices, payments, reports etc. after the migration.

Thanks! 😊

    Hi Happygirl,

We’re sad to see you go, but we’re still here to make the move as easy as possible. You’ll still be able to access your MYOB file for 90 days after the cancellation date, giving you time to check invoices, payments and reports. If you’d like to keep your historical data handy, you can check out our Read-Only plan offer. It lets eligible customers store and access their data without making changes. Just reach out to our support team via Contact Us, and they’ll help get it sorted.

    Cheers,

    Doreen

Hi Doreen_P , reading up on the read-only plan, I notice a couple of things:

    • you have to receive an invitation to take up this offer
    • it expires on 31st December 2026.

Is the offer period going to be extended?

    Why is it invitation only?

Is a full subscription also required (at all times)?

    Hi Mike_James,

Thanks for checking the details of the Read-Only offer. The current terms show that the offer ends on 31 December 2026 and is available by invitation only to eligible existing MYOB customers. As MYOB may vary or discontinue the offer, please reach out to our Sales team to confirm whether it will be extended, why it’s invitation-only, and whether you need to maintain a full subscription. They’ll also be able to explain the available options for your account.

    Regards,

    Sai
