So where is the solution? I urgently need to delete something. why has this only happened now ?

Upon checking, this doesn’t look like this is a widespread issue, so there isn’t a one‑size‑fits‑all fix just yet. That also makes it a bit tricky to say why it’s happening to your file right now. You could give these a go (as mentioned earlier in the thread):
- Quit and relaunch the software.
- Open the transaction first, then check if the edit button is grayed out
- Try using the browser version to delete the transaction.
- Or open the transaction, right‑click it, and choose Delete.
If none of that does the trick, you can get in touch with our support team to troubleshoot it further.
