Invoice prints but layout and alignment are incorrect

Hi everyone, I’m an end user and not very technical, so I’m hoping to get some guidance before making major changes.

When printing invoices from MYOB AccountRight, the print job goes through, but the output doesn’t look right. The alignment seems off and some sections don’t line up correctly on the page. This happens on different invoices, so it doesn’t seem to be a one-off issue.

I’ve checked printer settings and paper size, and there are no error messages. Before reinstalling drivers or adjusting custom forms, I wanted to confirm whether this was a printer output issue or something related to MYOB’s print layout.

To rule out problems with the printer itself, I printed a basic test page directly from the browser and the output looked normal. That makes me think the issue may be related to invoice layout or scaling rather than the printer.

Has anyone experienced similar invoice printing or layout issues in MYOB AccountRight? Any suggestions on what to check next would be appreciated.

Thanks.

    Hi Cameron4,

It’s a bit hard to say straight away whether the formatting issue is from the printer or the invoice form; it could be either.

A quick way to narrow it down is to print using a different default invoice form and compare that to the Print Preview in AccountRight.

    • If the preview looks fine but the printed copy is off, it’s likely a printer setting (usually scaling).
    • If the default form itself looks wrong, then it’s probably an issue with the form/layout.

You can also try printing from somewhere else (like another program other than the AccountRight browser and desktop) just to double‑check everything lines up as expected.
