Log In Issues

We have two separate company files & since your last three upgrades (at least), I am unable to have both files open at the same time, if I log into one it throws me out of the other.  I log in with different email addresses so don't know why this is happening as it has never been a problem before.  I have sent in a request for support previously but am still waiting for a response.

I need to get this issue resolved as I use both company files during the day & need to access company information without delays.  We have the latest version of AccountRight on our system.

    Hi Merryn11,

Thanks for getting in touch, and I’m sorry this has been causing so much disruption. What you’re seeing is related to the newer AccountRight sign-in experience. With single sign-on, AccountRight now uses one sign-in session per browser/device, so if you open another company file using a different MYOB email address, it can sign you out of the first file. If you need both files open at the same time, the main workarounds are:

    • use the same MYOB email address for both company files, as long as that email has access to both files
    • or use separate browser/Windows sessions or separate devices for each login.

If one of the email addresses doesn’t currently have access to both files, the file owner or admin can invite that email to the other company file so you can sign in under one login instead.

    Regards,

    Sai

    Hi Merryn11

I have 5 online files and have at least 3 open at one time.  From the AccountRight icon on my desktop I login to 1st company, once I've entered email, password 2FA etc and the company opens

I repeat the process to open another company, repeating the process as many times as I need company files open at the same time.  So see how you go using the same email each time
