Login Captcha Challenge

Captcha Challenge at Login; Really.

I am sure the computer technician's working on the updates are just trying to make it more difficult to  things just for the sake of it.

I come into work and log all the computers into Myob and now they have introduced another step.

I thought the Authenticator app was supposed to be enough.

 

Now I have to spend more time logging in and doing Captcha at every Login.

Enough already. I have more things to do than extra steps at login.

I never post any thing in the forums but this has annoyed me enough to make this post.

It may be time to look at another option.

    I hear you, it has taken 2 of us 25 minutes to login. continually being told that it doesn't recognize our login credentials, there is no rhyme or reason to logging in.  Finally got in on a screen that required my email address, password and the captcha code.  Previous attempts required just email and captcha code then the password.  Going to be a long day!!! Thanks MYOB.

    Agree with you 100%.  MYOB you are making the user experience very frustrating.  Why is the existing 2FA not enough?  I'd love to hear the reasoning on this one. 0/10 useless upgrade.

    What about the Captcha, is it going to go away ?

    I noticed this morning I did not have to do the Captcha challenge.

    Thankyou Myob for listening to your users.

    We all know security is a major concern for every person and business alike. 

    there has to be some balance between usability and security. My biggest problem is keeping track of passwords. so when somebody introduces another level of security it is another challenge that has to be overcome.

    Hey Crockweld​ and all.

    We had an issue raised earlier this morning where customers were unable to log in and instead presented with a generic error message stating "We have detected suspicious login behavior and further attempts will be blocked. Please contact MYOB support for help". 

    Our teams have been able to resolve this, and you should no longer have any issues signing in to your file. If the error message persists, please try clearing your cache and cookies before attempting sign in again.

    I noticed that Today I had to do the captcha Challenge again.

    Come on really enough is enough.

    Hi Crockweld,

     

    I get how frustrating that would be. We’ve checked on our end and there aren’t any known ongoing issues with the CAPTCHA at the moment, and we also haven’t had other recent reports of the same behaviour. It does look like this may be isolated to your setup for now. In some cases, this can happen if the internet connection is unstable or keeps changing during sign-in. If you’re able to, please try again on a different network and see if that makes any difference.

  • Well at least you can log in eventually.

    i have been unable to get into my company files since last Thursday! MYOB says it is due to their internal upgrade.

    I have spent 2 hours on the phone to MYOB support every day since then and am still unable to access any company files.

    Hi KE4,

     

    That’s a tough spot to be in, and I’m sorry you’ve had to spend so much time on the phone without getting access back yet. There’s an ongoing issue affecting some users who can’t get into their files, and the team’s already on it. You can also create a case via My Account so your file access issue is being tracked and you can get updates as soon as there's a movement on it.
