Mike, please answer the question. If we continue using AccountRight offline, will our file be made read only or otherwise deliberately disabled by MYOB in the future? Please just answer this.
Hi JoanEllen , you didnt ask about confirmations (although this has been asked and answered elsewhere already).
Confirmations are still supported in Server Edition for perpetual licence holders yes.
Customers with a perpetual licence can use AccountRight Server Edition, offline, with no subscription.
I cannot comment on what may or may not happen future, this is why we are putting out a caveat to customers that server edition is not supported. A windows update for example could occur and stop it from working at any time.
MYOB does not have any plans currently to alter the confirmations for AccountRight Server Edition
