Hi MJBook
We are all strung out over the changes, but Bronwyn is correct - being respectful actually gets things done quicker - we all are angry, that is permissible.
Mike cannot roll back MYOB - that is another department - but we ' the users' are being heard for something as an alternative.
Now, your point re AR SE 2026.5 & 2026.5 - AR SE 2026.5 is still able to access online and open 2026.5 files and back up locally and open them locally.
There is a post on this subject I wrote - yes MYOB rolled out an update for AR SE 2026.5 to stop it seeing the online files and hence opening and backing up - it was an update from 2026.5.0 to 2026.5.0 - yep sneaky. But the previous version should still be on your computer.
Open the shortcut on your desktop for AR SE 2026.5 and in the Target and Start in lines change the ...\app-2026.500.10023 back to .......1.0015 and you will then be able to see the online files and back up still.
Now this part is important - R click the icon again - select 'open file location' now click the up arrow on explorer - you need to get to C:\Program Files (x86)\MYOB\AccountRightServerEdition directory where you will see an exe called update.exe put an underscore () after the last e i.e. update.exe_ and this stops it running else it will roll you back to version 1.0023
That is it - back online and able to do back ups locally.
