Old Versions to Stop Working?

Question

I am still using Accountright Plus 19.16 and heard somewhere that this version will cease to operate soon. I don't use bank feeds, payroll or any of the other bells & whistles doing everything manually as I have done for 20 years.

Do I have to upgrade?

After purchasing the retail software I can't remember when, we continued paying what was originally MYOB cover even though there were no updates to the version we use as the company files needed verification. Am I right that we originally purchased a perpetual licence and shouldn't have to pay to keep using the old version.

Twenty years is a pretty solid innings with the same software!
&nbsp;
You can keep using your AccountRight v19 file for now, but only up until it next needs to confirm/activate after 28 Feb 2026. Once it tries to confirm after that date, you’ll have 30 days before the file switches to read‑only. After that, you’ll still be able to open it and run reports, but you won’t be able to enter or change any transactions.

Hiqldbridge​&nbsp;MYOB has decided to stop file confirmations at the end of February but there is a third party provider, FGH Tables that can confirm files at a reasonable price. If you haven’t cancelled your subscription with MYOB, then you should do so as you won’t need it and haven’t needed it since MYOB stopped supporting &nbsp;your version several years ago.&nbsp;Cheers&nbsp;Lizmajubawest@hotmail.com
