SMS 2FA

We already use the Authentication App. 

Do we need to set up the SMS 2FA as well?

Will we still have access to MYOB if we don't?

    Nice work getting the authenticator app up and running.
    That’s a great set up, but we will be requiring our customers to also enable SMS as a method of 2FA.

    You can refer to this post here for more information and conversation from other customers about the introduction of SMS as a mandatory 2FA method.

    How is it accetable to enforce employers to require their staff to have workplace login authentications sent to their personal mobiles. SMS will not work for my business model. You need to offer an alternative solution.

     

    NB: we currently have our auth sent to our work email

    Appreciate you flagging that SMS 2FA doesn't fit with how your business runs. Fair enough, not everyone's keen on using personal mobiles for work. SMS 2FA is more of a backup for most folks, with email and authenticator apps front of the queue for logging in. We put a big focus on data security, so you've got options to keep things locked down in a way that works for your team.
