Ah- thanks for the extra info. You need to re-use an old file rather than just delete these. The File ID is encoded within the file, so deleting these won't reset your history of creating files and the new file still won't activate as you've reached your limit. I take a copy of an unneeded file from a couple of years ago with minimal info and delete everything and then rollover to the current year and then enter transactions for the new business. You need to check all of your setup to make sure old business names don't go out on emails, etc but otherwise it works perfectly well. Unfortunately, this means you will have to enter data from 1/7/24 again but you should be good to go from hereon.

Hi Liz Unfortunately any old file that I open, to delete any transaction I need to confirm the company file. Since there is now no phone or internet verification, I am back to the same situation.
