Why is it so hard to reactivate a user in MYOB?

I have administrator access and I am trying to reactivate our previous accountant's access so he can transfer the Super Payment admins rights. I can't reactivate his profile which is inactive. MYOB says to delete the profile but when I try to delete MYOB says it cannot be deleted as he is an administrator even though the profile is inactive.

It is extremely frustrating as payday super is now in effect and I cannot meet the 7 day deadline.

I raised multiple support requests through my account online with no response from MYOB. I rang the MYOB phone number in Melbourne and was put on hold for an hour then the message said the wait time was 3 hours. Who can wait 3 hours on a workday.

Terrible service.

    Hi GTAV,

Thanks for laying that out. I can see this has been a rough experience, especially when you’re trying to sort it before payday super deadlines. As this is tied to administrator access on an inactive profile, our support team will need to step in and investigate it from their side. They’ll be able to check why the profile can’t be reactivated or removed, and what needs to happen to transfer the Super Payment admin rights. You can also try the steps here for editing and deleting users: Edit and delete users.

If you're still having issues after that, we're currently experiencing higher support volumes, which is causing delays with support cases, but our team will assist you as soon as someone becomes available. For the fastest way to reach us, please use our live chat support through our virtual assistant, MOCA.

    Regards,

    Sai
