Bank Transactions drop down

I have 2 credit cards in Chart of Accounts, however only one shows up in the dropdown for Bank Transactions. it does however show up in Reconcile accounts. The set up is the same as the card account that does show?

  • Hi WhalesAlbany

Thanks for posting your concern in the forum.

I'm sorry to hear about your difficulties finding your bank accounts under the Bank Transactions window. Generally, the Bank Transactions window is used to match transactions to bank feed transactions. If you are not using the bank feed for the credit card in question, the ledger account will also not appear in this window. Also, if you have already applied for bank feeds but this does not show in the ledger, it is likely that this ledger account is not yet linked to the bank feed you are trying to connect it with. I recommend checking this information in Banking > Manage bank feeds window.

Let us know if you require any further assistance with this.

    Thanks,

    • Hi Genreve,

I have 2 credit cards setup in my chart of accounts.

One shows up in the bank transactions drop down window.

Both are set up the same as far as I can see.

The one that I see I have not set up bank feeds previously but could find and could import transactions.

The other that does not show and I must enter transactions with spend money.

It shows in recincile accounts as all do.

      Cheers

        Hi WhalesAlbany

        Thanks for your response.

We appreciate the added information. May I ask for screenshots of how these two credit cards are set? If you feel uncomfortable sharing these screenshots in a public post, feel free to send me a private message instead. Also, may I know if both credit cards have bank feeds?

We look forward to your response.

        Thanks,
        Genreve
