When I heard about smart reconciliation I thought it was a good idea, so I turned it on. Now I'm not so sure. I can't see any way to turn it off completely.
I did turn off all the automatch settings, but it didn't turn off the smart reconciliation feature.
How can I turn it off?

If Smart Reconciliation is available for your business, you can turn it off from the Bank transactions page. Go to Banking > Bank transactions, then click the menu next to Smart Reconciliation at the top right and choose Back to classic view. I also detest the smart auto reconciliation and would like to disable this feature. It currently is requiring me to 'match' transactions that have already been matched so I cannot reconcile.

I can see why removing the feature all together would a good fix for you.
At the moment, there isn’t a way to completely turn off Smart Reconciliation or switch back to the classic view. Turning off the automatch settings will stop those automatches, but it won’t disable the Smart Reconciliation experience itself.
