STP ATO set up Branch 2?

Hi, 

We subscribed to another MYOB Business Essential software for a new business.

To register the STP-ATO in 2017 is quite easy but today too many screening questions (understandable due to scammers). After reporting the STP to ATO, the staff asked me to do the steps below.

 

   1- go to Set up Menu

   2- Choose Company information

   3- Change the MYOB default of Branch 1 to Branch 2

   4- Save changes

 

Is this the Business Settings? GST Branch Number?

    That's fantastic news! Welcome to your new MYOB Business software for your new venture. Looks like your staff has provided you with the steps for the AccountRight desktop version. If you're using MYOB Business, changing branch will be at your business settings >> GST branch number.

    HiShepai-8-2017,

     

    Thank you for your post and I can see that you would like to change the business branch number. In able to change the branch number if you are using the MYOB Business which is the online version or Browser. After logging in app.myob.com. Go to the settings beside the business name, clicked Business settings then you will find the option to change or fill up the GST Branch Number.
