Cancelling Pay Super via MYOB

Question

Hi,&nbsp;I usually pay my monthly super payments via an external Clearing House, and was getting organised to set up for the weekly super payments at the same time as the payroll. To streamline things, I decided I might as well sign up for the MYOB Pay Super.Following the MYOB checklist, I ran into some problems as some of my employees' super funds don't have a proper Superannuation Name in the drop down Superannuation Fund List, or they have given a slightly different name (and I am too scared to change the Superannuation Name they gave me just to comply with the MYOB list - which you can't add any Funds to). A further problem is that 2 employees have a SMSF, hence no SPIN, just an ABN. Their SMSF is not found in the Superannuation Fund List in the drop down and again, can't be added.So far I have had no problems with my external Clearing House.I am almost done setting up my MYOB Pay Super, just waiting to get my 1 cent to get my reference number. But I would like to cancel the MYOB Pay Super altogether. Especially as my Clearing House gets the Super into everyone's account smoothly (I just have to manually enter it) and within 1 day. How do I cancel the MYOB Pay Super set up so it doesn't take out the weekly Super Payments out of my account?&nbsp;Thank you,&nbsp;Jackie

Sounds like you've done all the right things but Pay Super's just not lining up with how you're currently running things. For SMSFs that only have an ABN and no SPIN, that's actually completely normal. Once registration is successful, you'll be able to create the SMSF details in Pay Super, so they can still be paid properly. For any super funds not showing in the list, it's worth checking with the fund directly to confirm their latest details. If they're still not popping up, you can reach out to our live chat support through our virtual assistant, MOCA, or submit a case via My Account, and they can help locate the fund or guide you further. If you'd like to fully cancel things so it's all neatly wrapped up, you can also ask our team to disable your Pay Super registration on the backend.

Hi Sai,&nbsp;Thank you for your reply. I think in the remaining trial months before Pay Super is mandatory, I prefer to see how I go with my current Clearing House on a weekly basis. So I'd like the MYOB team to disable my Pay Super registration on the back end for now.
