Hi. The person's current address is set up as Australia. This is where the person resigns now.

    Hi NT2

Thanks for sending the screenshot again. I missed it the first time. Looks like the Tax window’s set up correctly. You can also double-check that the Profile tab on the employee card has the right country and postcode, as that affects the information sent too.

    Thanks,
    Genreve

Hi Genreve, I am not really sure what do you want me to change in here:

    Hi NT2

Thanks for the screenshot. Those two errors definitely need to be checked one by one.

CMN.ATO.GEN.XML03 This typically occurs when there’s some invalid information somewhere in your payroll. The best bet is to check out this thread to see what to look for and how to fix it.

On the other hand, the CMN.ATO.PAYEVNTEMP.000358 one happens if you’ve reported income as a Working Holiday Maker, Foreign Employment Income, or Inbound Assignees to Australia after 30/06/2020, but the origin country didn’t make it into the STP file. To sort it:

    • Open the employee card.
    • Make sure the Income Stream Type is one of the three above.
    • In the WHM/foreign income section, set a non‑AU origin country (separate from their address).
    • Save.
    • Send an STP Update event or resubmit the pay.

Give us a yell if you get stuck, and we’ll help you through it.

    Regards,
    Genreve

Hi. We keep receiving the same error code from ATO, even though the employee card was set up properly and the country of origin was entered. Any clue how to fix it?
