Hi Catherine_M,
Good morning. Thanks for explaining what you’ve already tried. I understand this is urgent with your 12:00 pm submission deadline. The "One or more funds selected is inactive and can't accept payments" a generic validation error, so sadly it doesn’t show which fund is causing the issue. It can happen when a super fund has changed, such as being merged or renamed. I recommend checking the details against the current Super Fund list, and searching by the fund’s SPIN or USI rather than its name.
It’s also possible the SMSF record has become corrupted. To test this, go to your super fund list and recreate the fund again using a slightly different name. Then assign the new fund to the affected employee profiles, reprocess the payments, and check whether the issue is resolved. If the error continues, please contact our live chat team through our virtual assistant, MOCA, or submit a case via My Account. They’ll be able to take a closer look at your file and fund setup.
Cheers,
Princess
