Incorrect payment date on pay run

I was trying to be efficient and processed our June monthly pay runs early to process the super payment before 30 June. Unfortunately, instead of the payment date of 28th June, I have selected 28th July! I have already processed the pay day super as well. I created another monthly pay run with the correct pay date but will the super payment still count for the June pays or would they be recorded against the July pays?? The super amount would be the same for both months. Do I pay the super again for the corrected pay run and reverse the incorrect pay run and pay day super? At the moment it's not giving me an option to reverse the pay run or the payday super (possible because itis still processing?)

    Hi Angak74,

If the original pay run was processed with a pay date of 28 July, the super payment is generally linked to that pay run, so it may be treated as a July-dated pay until the original entry is corrected. If the Pay Super payment is still processing, that can also stop the reverse option from appearing just yet. To avoid doubling up, it’s best not to pay the super again until the first payment has been reviewed or reversed correctly. You can check this link about reversing superannuation payments for more info.

    Cheers,
