#payroll

I'm working remotely through the web version and the payroll today threw up an error on record payroll saying that an employee's annual leave was linked to two categories and to fix the error before proceeding.  I wasn't able to fix the error but my colleague used the desktop version to do the payroll and it worked perfectly.  What is wrong with my web version?

    I completely understand that it’s confusing that the web version shows an error, but the desktop version doesn’t.

     

    On the desktop, you can still record a pay even if one wage category is linked to more than one leave entitlement. In the browser, that setup isn’t allowed, so it stops the pay run and shows the entitlement error instead.

     

    So the same setup is behaving differently: the desktop lets it go through, while the browser flags it so it can be fixed.
