Hi amfrost2489,
That can be a bit confusing. It does feel like it should be sitting right there in the user roles. It's not actually glitch, it's just that being a Pay Super authoriser is a bit separate from the usual user role settings. So if you're not seeing the option there, that's expected. You won't need to delete your bookkeeper either. What needs to happen is:
- You'll need to be set up as a Pay Super Administrator first
- Then verify your mobile number
- After that, you can add yourself in as an authoriser
If you get stuck or don't have an admin set up, this guide should walk you through it nice and easy: Add a Pay Super payment authoriser.

Sai
Hi Sai
We have a Pay Super Administrator but how do we verify the mobile number? There doesn't seem to be anywhere to do this.

Hi Robbiebobbob,
You’re right, there isn’t a feature that shows the Pay Super authoriser’s mobile at a glance, so you’ll need to jump into your Super settings to check it.
- Make sure they’re a Pay Super Administrator under Payroll > Super payments > … > Pay Super settings > Your user roles.
- When they’re added, they’ll get an email from PaySuper@apps.myob.com called “Verify your mobile number to authorise super payments” – they just click the link, sign in, and follow the SMS steps.
- If that email never turned up or the mobile’s wrong, they can use the Pay Super Change of Details form here so the Pay Super team can update it: https://www.myob.com/au/support/myob-business/payroll/superannuation/set-up-pay-super/changing-your-pay-super-payment-details?productview=Browser
Once that’s done, they’ll get the codes and can authorise Super as normal.

Genreve
