STP Reporting
I have reported pays to the ATO but when I've checked the STP Report it showing $0.00 for the pay. My Activity report doesn't match the ATO's balance. How do I fix?

I’ve seen this come up quite a bit, especially around this time of year.
If the STP report is showing $0.00, it’s often because the pay was sent as an update event instead of a new pay event. When that happens, the STP report can show $0 for the pay period even though it’s still sending the updated year-to-date totals through to the ATO. What I’d recommend first is working out what’s actually causing the mismatch, because once that’s clear, it’ll be much easier to know exactly what fix needs to be applied.
