Discrepancy between budget and budget comparison

Can anyone tell me how to recifiy a problem with the Budget not displaying correctly in the Financial Year comparison to actual Profit & Loss? Ie. I have a budgeted amount for $1000 for website chang...

Hi Jennith 

 

Thank you for your post. Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum.

 

If your budget information has been entered for the current financial year and you are wishing to get a YTD amount to compare against that budget do set the following filters:

 

  • Set the Period to be Custom
  • Have the From date be the start of the year
  • Have the To date be the desired date of the year you wish to view up to
  • Set the Breakdown to be Yearly.

This will produce a Profit and Loss for the year to date and you can then compare that with the Budget (which will be set for the full year).

Sorry but this hasn't solved it. I tried everything you suggested but my budget is correct ie. $57, 224.25 is coming up as the income but in the comparison report the .25c is missing. 

 

Any further advice?
