HI Komal,
I am not entering numbers - they are auto generated by the program, I've never had to enter numbers.
Also why is ther 2x2 and then it goes up to the next number and does another 2 - one of them had 3 invoices with the same number.
I am not a fan of many of the things with the upgrade, there is a couple of things that are fantastic such as being able to search for a PO.
Have a great day
It looks like since the upgrade you can make multiple invoices with the same number. This seems totally bizarre to me and I wonder what purpose it could serve?
I too have been yelling about several things since the 'uprade that removes features but costs more".

Hi flumpjumper , janjac
Thanks for clarifying.
We will need to investigate this, as a test, can you please choose the invoice number manually for the next invoice? Please ensure it's way higher than the previous invoice number to rule out any issues. As an example, if the previous invoice was 1234, chooose the next one manually as 5899, and save the invoice. After that is done, generate another invoice and check if the number automatically increments in sequence.- flumpjumper3 years agoExperienced User
Yes, tested this and it does correctly auto assign next invoice number incrementally.
Doesn't explain why it lets you have multiple invoices with same invoice number though.

Hi flumpjumper
The system currently does not present warnings for duplicate invoice numbers in the system and allows for it. This is something that might be changed in the future releases. Thank you for your patience in the meanwhile.
