2 page invoice pdf
I need to add supporting evidence as a 2nd page of customer invoice pdf not an attachment. The company I am dealing with do not want to accept 2 pdfs in the invoice email. They want the supporting ...
Hi Sai,
I have been playing with the invoice templates and found that I could only add the T & C’s to the service template – it didn’t give me the option to add it to the professional template (which is what the client uses) - I created a template in the browser but it doesn't transfer to the desktop - how do I create the extra page to the professional template in the desktop? Your help is much appreciated.
kind regards
GraceB
Hi GraceB,
Thanks for explaining that. I can see why you’d want the terms and conditions included in the same PDF. You can’t create a fixed extra page for the Professional invoice template in the desktop version of AccountRight. The desktop Customise Forms editor doesn’t support a separate second page, and templates created in the browser don’t transfer to the desktop version because they use different template systems. If you need the full terms and conditions on a separate final page, you’ll need to create and send the invoice using the browser version, where the Sales template has an Add terms and conditions option. For desktop AccountRight, the alternatives are to add a shorter version in a text box on the Professional form, send the full terms and conditions as a separate attachment, or combine the exported invoice PDF with the terms and conditions using a PDF editor.
Regards,
Sai
Thank you for your quick response Sai :)
Can you explain why the professional invoice template is not showing up in the browser?
Hi GraceB,
The Professional layout is an AccountRight desktop form, while the browser version has its own, more limited set of templates. That’s why it isn’t appearing in the browser template list. To use the Professional layout:
If you’re working in the browser, you can create or edit one of the available templates under Settings > Sales settings > Templates. You can find more detail in Customising invoices.

Doreen
