Attachments when sending invoices

Hi,

I need help with 2 things:

  1. When I am sending an invoice, i dont attach a photo in the attachment area (on the invoicing page) but I do when I click "Email Invoice" a pop up appears where you can drag and drop, but there is no record of what photo I have sent. So if i need to re-send that invoice for some reason, I will need to find the photo I sent and attach it again. Is there a solution to this? I can attach it to the invoice before clicking "Email Invoice" however this is another issue as below.
  2. When attaching a photo to the invoice on the invoicing page, some of my recipients cannot see the attachment, I have had a look at their email as well, invoice is there but no attachment. But i sent the same invoice to my email and I can see it. What am i missing here??

    Hi CleanQ,

Files added in the Email Invoice pop-up don’t stay with the invoice, so re-sending means re-attaching. There’s no default/automatic PDF attachment when emailing from MYOB Business. If you think this will be beneficial on your business, I would recommend posting this suggestion on our ideas board for feature consideration. For the invoice photo some recipients can’t see, I suggest checking if their recipient settings match the folks who can. Then after this, hit the “View invoice” link to see the online version where attachments show as PDFs don’t get attached directly from MYOB Business emails. If needed, quick workaround: attach the PDF in the email window, send it, then hop back into the invoice and reattach the docs. Bit manual, but it’ll make sure everyone sees what they need.

    Cheers,

    Shella

  • Thanks for your input. I dont do 1 or 2 invoices, i do at least 20 - 30 invoices each night, so i want something that works properly and myob doesnt seem to do that. Nowdays, with new technology etc, workload needs to be minimised and not other wise. Its always a hit and miss with myob, i have done the basic checks and it all points to myob but now you have confirmed that as well. I will look into xero as my mate uses that with no issues. thanks for your input.
