Changes to Invoice template not flowing through to new Invoice

Hi, I noticed a message this morning about the ability to customise the Invoice template. I thought great I can now hide some of the fields I don't use. I have turned off 3 of the fields (Item, Unit Measure and Discount) and saved the Default template.

Everytime I go back into the template I can see the changes have saved but whenever I create a new invoice all the fields are showing as if it's not using the default template and picking up the layout of the previous saved Invoice. Is there another step I need to do to force a New Invoice to use the updated template?

Appreciate any assistance you can give.

  • Hi noswen,

I understand that the customized invoice is no showing as the default template. Please check this article and see the steps on how you may save it and use it as a default template, if you were able to follow the steps please clear the cache of your Accountright then retry.

Feel free to write a post if you need further assistance.

    Cheers,

    Jem

    • Hi Jem,

Thanks for your reply. Sorry I haven't responded earlier - I've been away sick. To clarify, I am using the default template not a custom invoice. The default template does allow me to hide/show some of the fields and it has saved the changes but new invoices based on the default template are not showing the updated changes.

I like your suggestion of clearing the cache as it's possible there is something held in memory but the instructions are for AccountRight and I'm using MYOB Business. Is there another method I can try for my version of MYOB e.g. a way to force a refresh of the default template?

      Thanks,

      Carolyn
