Online payment surcharge

Hello. For online payments I have only selected credit card (not BPay) and to pass on the charges to the customer.  Yet still I receive an invoice from MYOB for the credit card surcharge.  How can I avoid this?

Above is the settings on the invoice which was paid on CC but I still received the invoice from MYOB for Online Payments Transaction Fees. It is $44.77 on a $2640 invoice.

Thank in advance.

One quick tip is if you change this setting on an invoice you've already sent, you'll need to save your changes and re-send the invoice in order for them to update. Step by step instructions on updating your surcharge preferences can be found on this page here. We've also got this page which has more information and a break down of how online payment fees and charges work in case.

    Cheers, Amanda.

We have the same setup as above, however I use the myob app on my phone send invoices and we are on site and it only have online payments hightlight on/off.

However invoice was sent and surcharge was back to business not customer, as above.  Business was charge $18.25.

    How did this happen??

      Hi InTheHills,

If your online payments are set to surcharge your customers, there should be no reason for the surcharges to be returned to the business. At this point, it's best to contact support to take a deeper look at your setup. You can reach them by creating a support ticket from the MyAccount window or using live chat through MOCA.
