Recording and applying store credit

Hi, 

My not-for-profit charity has received a donation in the form of a store credit. How to I input this into MYOB and then use it to pay the accounts with this company?

    Absolutely love seeing your charity getting support. Recording something like this is a bit different than regular cash donations, where you’d usually just do a “receive money” transaction. With store credits, though, there are some extra things to think about, especially since you’ll want to use the credit later on. The safest bet is to chat with your accountant about the right way to record these kinds of transactions.
