Inventory Export Price fields skipped

Question

I have created a new data file for our use & exported Cust, Supp, Employees, & Inventory.

Some of the sell prices (ABCDEF) in some of the items are missing.
It is not every item or the same price level on the items, but it has caused enormous problems.
I thought it was a problem with the import process, but the error is in the exported file.
Have tried Tab Delimited & Comma Delimited, using only Item Codes & Prices

Prices in the MYOB file have been checked.

If this started from an import, the first thing I’d check is the import log.
&nbsp;
That usually gives the best insight into what happened during the import, including whether any fields were skipped, substituted, or flagged with a warning.
&nbsp;
It’d be worth checking the contents of the import log to see whether it mentions those price fields or any related warnings. That should help narrow down why some of the prices are missing in the export file. ThanksThe problem seems to begin at the point of export.ST-108-700sht,52,0,49,0,49,0 -&nbsp; from the exported text file.Prices are correct in MYOBIt appears that there is another delimiter forcing the skipping of the next price field, forcing the B price into the C field, &amp; the C price into the E field.&nbsp;

Hi Graeme59​ , did you export all fields? If so, try another export, but select only the fields required to update the selling prices - item code, item name, sell price, Quantity Break 1, price levels A-F qty break 1. Open the file in Excel to see if the alignment is correct.
When importing this file, do not match the item name, because you do not need to update it.
Would you be able to attach an extract of the faulty txt file with two lines - column headings and 2-3 faulty lines?

Graeme59​ , research on the forum led me to another explanation, that "A common cause for 'wrong' selling prices being exported is due to duplicate entries in the price matrix. These are not visible to the user. Basically sometimes when importing a price update, rather than updating, MYOB creates a new entry. When you view selling prices on screen, MYOB retrieves one of the prices. When you export, it retrieves a different one."

You can run a price detail report to the screen and review it ,where you may find some products with 2 columns of prices, both labelled quantity break 0
The solution is for MYOB to run a script on the file to fix these errors.

Thanks JamesI have run a price detail report &amp; got a very funny result.MYOB shows 2 columns for Quantity Over 0 on the report, but on shows 1 column in the APP.With different prices&nbsp;I then reset column 2 to Quantity over 999 items and set the prices in that column to 0.This is the report.I still have 2 Zero Columns.&nbsp; &nbsp;Is this a bug in MYOB ?&nbsp;
