Why is MYOB allowed to charge card fees if businesses are not? MYOB is a business isn't it?
My understanding is that it isnt just MYOB, it is any platform that businesses use to take payment. Square is an example that I know of.

This link from the RBA gives a summary of why it is happening. One interesting point is that card surcharges were brought in to encourage consumers to use cheaper payment methods - e.g CASH which became a discouraged method of paying around 2020.
