This is annoying and a waste of paper. Please give us an option as soon as you can.

Hi All,
Not sure if this will be suitable for all of you but I clicked on the "edit options" link underneath "online payments" towards the top right corner of the sales invoice screen. I was able to untick the cards and digital wallets option. Obviously, this isn't a good long-term solution but if many of your customers pay on account via direct bank transfer (like mine do) it may be a shot-term way to remove unnecessary printing. In the meantime, MYOB please reverse or make changes to allow us (the users and subscribers i.e. payers to your product) to toggle off the option of a QR code.

Another thing that is not being thought of here too is, many of us hire a Xerox Copier and pay by the page. When staff just print and every copy has an extra page this is truly costing us more just to have this feature turned on. This is another reason why you should roll back the latest update immediately.

We need options to turn this feature off as it causes confusion. It even prints when the invoice has already been paid.

Hi AmandaMYOB
Appreciate your team is looking at a better solution, but in the interim the best approach would be to roll back this change until a better solution is found. This would not be hard to do.
It's obvious how frustrating this is for your customers including myself and I'd suggest you revert back to the way it was for now to keep everyone happy.
Thank you.

Hi AmandaMYOB
This feature is frustrating. Please submit the feedback that this be turned back off or at least give us the option to turn it off. There is no value added to our business, and many other businesses as I can see.
I am consistently disappointed by MYOB make changes to the system and seriously lack support for it. - Chelly27 days agoExperienced Cover User
I agree with it being aggressive and desperate for payment. We have long standing account customers that are extremely diligent at paying their accounts on time. This feature is extreme overkill and doesn't represent our company at all! MYOBjv SaiMYOB ROC_MYOB PrueMYOB OneMYOB JessAMYOB

AmandaMYOB simply not good enough. If we all decide to stop paying to use this service I'm sure you could give us a time frame fairly quickly.
It's absurd the amount of paper wasted from this silly update. I and my customers find it aggressive by sending this QR code for payment. Making it look like we are desperate for the money. It's unprofessional as is your stance on this matter. - rob_d27 days agoExperienced User
Hi MYOB, it sounds like the easiest solution would be to allow this "feature" to be customisable via the "Customise Forms" option (ie. insert data fields). Which realistically is where it should have been in the first place, not hardcoded into every invoice/document that is printed, hence you can understand the discontent amongst your customers.
In this way, each business can insert elements of the 'How to Pay' within their own invoice designs/templates (if they choose). And also without the need to disable the online payments feature of the software.
This would be a win-win situation for all parties as businesses can utilise this 'How to Pay' feature as they see fit, and MYOB still has an increased click-through to their online payment systems.

AmandaMYOB - Could we at least have something added to the individual customer card in either the 'Selling Details' or the 'Payment Details' fields where we can select what payment method that is used for the customer card, i.e MYOB Payment Link, Other Method. This would at least enable a business to make their own decision on which customer's get access to / need to have a payment link and which don't.
Even if a business sometimes uses the payment link there will most likely be other payment methods that are also used and a more advantageous to the business for that customer segment. Here is a just a few that MYOB may not have considered (I am sure there is more):
- Cash sales at POS
- EFT at POS
- Purchase Orders with direct transfer into bank
- Regular customers who pay into the bank
- Sales from a website where payment is taken from a payment gateway
The payment link is suppose to be an added feature from MYOB not a forced change to business operations. It cannot replace every business's entire way of taking payments. It is unprofessional, confusing to our customers and wasteful to add payment information for the above customers. The work-arounds are a manual, additional step. Any productivity tool would recommend deleting such a process.
