we have now removed the MYOB online payments feature, unfortunately our customers who were using will be paying us directly now. Until the QR code is easeily removable we will leave the feature off.
Thanks MYOB, ZERO is looking very attractive right now...

I guess we turn off online payments all together then? Then people will not pay through MYOB? that sounds like a good idea doesn't it MYOB? remove your payment gateway altogether? It is seriously wrong that we customise our forms then you add that in with no agreement from us. and its a feature you can not turn off!!! seriously!!! Outraged!!!

Stupid, MYOB needs to make this an option ASAP please. We are wasting paper every time we print invoices. MYOB remove this immediately. Thank you.

AmandaMYOB - great to hear!
I know you've said that you are introducing a global setting in preferences, can you also please consider the ability to make features per customer as well for payments. I, along with lots of other business have differing payment methods used for different types of customers. To be able to turn off / on the payment feature per customer (not per invoice or global) would also be very useful.

Despite this latest stuff up, and I know you will all attack me, BUT I will actually stick up for MYOB AccountRight as a solid accounting solution for small to medium businesses. Ive looked around and after 20 years, I still like the fact that you can edit orders, you can delete things without having to do complicated reversals, you can drill down and easily find where transactions have gone, it uses simply accounting practices of ledgers that make sense as one in, one out, and it handles inventory and inventory builds pretty well. Unless you are prepared to jump to the next level of outlay, I found it a lot more user friendly than say Xero which seem to have a lot of complicated transaction flows last time I used it. My team (other than me as a chartered accountant, none of them are book keepers or accountants) have easily been self taught and can navigate around it confidentally, and we have complicated inventory management. And I will say in this instance, I think they have been very quick to listen and reply to alll our negative feedback on ABSOLUTELY HATING this change and they have made the change back to what we all wanted. So you can hate me for saving it, but Im not sure there is better out there. So i'll keep posting my feedback, phoning them when things aren't working well and help them continually improve a pretty decent product.

Hi all,
I want to acknowledge the frustration this recent feature change has caused.
This change was released as part of the new payment schedule functionality so payment schedules would appear on printed invoices. It’s clear this has had a significant impact on your workflows, and that the current workarounds, as well as waiting until July for a fix, aren’t good enough.
We’ve shared your feedback with our product teams, and they’ve decided to roll back this part of the release.
Here’s what that means:
- From next Tuesday afternoon, invoices printed from AccountRight desktop will no longer include the “How to Pay” page. If you’re using payment schedules, they won’t appear on invoices printed through this flow, but they will still appear as expected everywhere else (ie. if you preview invoices, print through the browser, export as a PDF, etc.). You will need to make sure your software has updated to the latest version.
- In July, we’ll reintroduce this section, which includes both payment schedules and “How to Pay”, as a configurable print setting under the Preferences tab in AccountRight, so you can turn it on or off as needed.
- From September, we plan to further enhance the experience so you can print payment schedules without the “How to Pay” information.
We’re listening to your feedback, and we really appreciate the time you’ve taken to raise this on the community forum.

SM29 I'm very worried about the apparent fix they are talking about.
To me I read it as they are just going to allow a selection of which page to print when you get to printer options.
If you ask me this is what the temporary fix should be not the final solution.
If this is the case I'm not going to turn online payments back on. Just leave it off forever because my staff will not remember to change this setting every time.
Fingers crossed they might surprise us for once and listen to what their users want...
