AmandaMYOB with this new August update where you say we'll be able to turn it on or off as needed are you saying per invoice or per customer?
Per customer would be preferable as a setting in their Customer Card File.

Hi FionaMiriam
The 'How to Pay' section will appear as expected everywhere else (ie. if you preview invoices, print through the browser, export as a PDF, etc.).
In August, we’ll reintroduce this section, which includes both payment schedules and “How to Pay”, as a configurable print setting under the Preferences tab in AccountRight, so you can turn it on or off as needed. I will pass your feedback to the team regarding email PDF's for further consideration.

AmandaMYOB - so what is your solution then? - I am assuming that even if I turn MYOB payments off, that the QR code and view invoice link are still going to be on my PDF invoices? Can you please respond to this and let me know if this is the case.
We are currently downloading the PDF invoice, deleting the page and re-attaching it to an email. I do not want to continue this as it has double the workload of invoicing. Please advise on a solution that you have so that we do not have to continue to do this going forward.

Hey FionaMiriam
This change only applies to invoices that are printed from the AccountRight desktop.

AmandaMYOB - will this also apply to the PDF generated invoice?

We released an update earlier this week which means invoices printed from AccountRight desktop will no longer include the 'How to Pay' page. If you’re using payment schedules, they won’t appear on invoices printed through this flow, but they will still appear as expected everywhere else (ie. if you preview invoices, print through the browser, export as a PDF, etc.).
For your context:
- In August, we’ll reintroduce this section, which includes both payment schedules and “How to Pay”, as a configurable print setting under the Preferences tab in AccountRight, so you can turn it on or off as needed.
- From September, we plan to further enhance the experience so you can print payment schedules without the “How to Pay” information.

Have you resolved this to turn the QR code off. We are flying through paper - such a waste?!?!
Not something we needed or wanted. Nobody is using this QR Code so you (MYOB) are not making money from it. Please fix it.

AmandaMYOB To check what my customers are seeing, I emailed an invoice to myself, then clicked on "View Invoice" and while the invoice template is very similar to mine, there are enough differences that some of my information is either lost or partially obscured, such as my email address. I also had some older invoices saved in an email folder, so clicked on the "Pay Now" option, and despite the invoice having been paid and having a zero balance, the QR code still appears on the second page of the invoice (and the invoice template is as described above). Again, considering that MYOB is a premium product, your pricing schedule reflects this, and your initial response to this discussion was about "Professional looking invoices", this change seems to have been pushed through without any regard for the following: what your customers actually want, for the coding team to have enough time to get it right, and for any of this to be checked that it works properly and is customer friendly, and lastly to troubleshoot any problems BEFORE launch. If this were a racehorse, it would be laying on the track, surrounded by a screen, after crashing at the first hurdle. Do Better.

AmandaMYOB There is a link break between default settings and recurring sales. I have my online payments default set to OFF at the moment due to this issue, and yet a recurring sale invoice went out with a QR code on it. If the default is OFF, then all online payment options should be OFF. I should not have to go through my recurring sales and set this manually, otherwise I would have done this, instead of resetting the DEFAULT.
