Hi AmandaMYOB
This feature is frustrating. Please submit the feedback that this be turned back off or at least give us the option to turn it off. There is no value added to our business, and many other businesses as I can see.
I am consistently disappointed by MYOB make changes to the system and seriously lack support for it. - BJ326 days agoExperienced User
Another thing that is not being thought of here too is, many of us hire a Xerox Copier and pay by the page. When staff just print and every copy has an extra page this is truly costing us more just to have this feature turned on. This is another reason why you should roll back the latest update immediately.

Hi All,
Not sure if this will be suitable for all of you but I clicked on the "edit options" link underneath "online payments" towards the top right corner of the sales invoice screen. I was able to untick the cards and digital wallets option. Obviously, this isn't a good long-term solution but if many of your customers pay on account via direct bank transfer (like mine do) it may be a shot-term way to remove unnecessary printing. In the meantime, MYOB please reverse or make changes to allow us (the users and subscribers i.e. payers to your product) to toggle off the option of a QR code.

This is not a solution. I have 4 major customers that get multiple invoices per day who pay via direct deposit at the EOM. Then I have small clients that might get 1 invoice per month and like to pay via the online payment option. To continuously toggle on and viable off is not a viable solution. Thanks for the suggestion though, it may work for someone

Hey everyone.
We've heard your feedback about the additional "How to Pay" page being included when printing invoices from AccountRight desktop, and we understand the impact this has had on your workflows.
The team has prioritised a better solution, we are working on a new print setting in AccountRight desktop that will allow you to exclude or include the "How to Pay" page when printing invoices.
We're targeting this change for the next AccountRight release, which is expected in mid-July.
Thank you for your patience and for taking the time to share your feedback. It has helped us understand and priortise this work, and we're committed to getting the solution to you as soon as possible.
In the meantime, here are a couple of workarounds:
- If you don't need the payment information page, you can print only the first pages by selecting the appropriate page range in your print settings, or print double-sided to reduce paper usage.
- If you're printing invoices to use as packing slips, AccountRight has a dedicated Packing Slip feature that's designed specifically for this purpose. You can find more information here.
Thanks again for your patience and understanding. We'll continue to keep you updated as we get closer to the release.

Actually did a test and it worked for a new invoice. Looks like this function is off from now on...

Thanks PUP this worked for me, kinda! Only 2 out of about 30 invoices today printed with the second page.
Thanks for sharing

AmandaMYOB I do think being able to select the customers who have this feature in the Customer Card is better than current solution that you have proposed a new print setting in AccountRight desktop that will allow you to exclude or include the "How to Pay" page when printing invoices. Because it is not just the printing of the invoice but also the payment link / view invoice on the email.
When I have manually turned off the payment option for an invoice and then tested the email the link to 'view invoice' which replaces 'Pay Now', the link just gets stuck on a waiting page. It never actually takes them to 'view the invoice'.
The silly work around because this isn't working is to email to ourselves, forward the email with the pdf invoice and delete any reference to the 'view invoice' link. Sending a link that doesn't work is incredibly unprofessional.
So, we are now manually deciding which customer will and won't get access to the payment link for each individual invoice and amending the payment option in each invoice. Manually removing 'view invoices' on those customers who are not going to be paying using the MYOB payment link. The amount of increase in labour is very much starting to out way the benefit of having the payment link at all. Which in our case was only for a single segment of our customers, not all customers.
Please consider the suggestion to amend the customer card to include if a payment link is required for that customer.

Despite this latest stuff up, and I know you will all attack me, BUT I will actually stick up for MYOB AccountRight as a solid accounting solution for small to medium businesses. Ive looked around and after 20 years, I still like the fact that you can edit orders, you can delete things without having to do complicated reversals, you can drill down and easily find where transactions have gone, it uses simply accounting practices of ledgers that make sense as one in, one out, and it handles inventory and inventory builds pretty well. Unless you are prepared to jump to the next level of outlay, I found it a lot more user friendly than say Xero which seem to have a lot of complicated transaction flows last time I used it. My team (other than me as a chartered accountant, none of them are book keepers or accountants) have easily been self taught and can navigate around it confidentally, and we have complicated inventory management. And I will say in this instance, I think they have been very quick to listen and reply to alll our negative feedback on ABSOLUTELY HATING this change and they have made the change back to what we all wanted. So you can hate me for saving it, but Im not sure there is better out there. So i'll keep posting my feedback, phoning them when things aren't working well and help them continually improve a pretty decent product.
