Thanks for flagging this. That would definitely be annoying, especially when it means invoices might get missed and not paid, so good spot picking up the pattern with the dates in the file names. At the moment, it looks like the way those PDF files are named is tripping up the email‑to‑MYOB process, so the system is bouncing them back rather than loading them into your file/library. That would explain why removing the hyphens in the file name lets it go through. You’ve basically found the workaround already.
For now, the safest approach is:
- If an emailed invoice bounces, save it locally and rename the file (for example: inv34343_250326.pdf instead of inv34343-25-03-26.pdf),
- Then resend it to your MYOB email address, or upload it directly.

Thanks, yes thats what I have been doing which is a bit of a pain when you get multiple invoices going through that process
