Online payments turned off but still taking place?

After MYOB had forced the signup of online payments I made sure all of the toggles to accept payments by credit card were turned off.

A week later the first payment came through (via credit card). I opened a support ticket via my account, which was ignored then closed.

This week I have a second credit card payment for nearly $2000 come through, and of course, MYOB have charged fees for this service.


As mentioned I have everything turned off, I have contacted support with no reply. Im hoping someone from MYOB will see this post and solve the issue.

    Hey Domcar​ 

    When you adjust your online payment settings, these only take place for new invoices that have been created after the settings have been changed. You will need to manually edit your online payment options on any previous invoices that were created prior to the online payment settings being updated.

    AmandaMYOB​ thanks for the reply. Prior to the forced update of online payments, we already had online payments turned off. We have actually never had an online payment come through because we never offered this option. Its only since this update that we have started receiving them, even though the toggle is still switched off.

    Hi Domcar,

     

    Thanks for clarifying that. I appreciate you explaining what’s been happening. If Online Payments was already switched off before the forced update, and you’ve only started receiving payments since then, that definitely doesn’t sound like expected behaviour. It’d be best to contact our live chat support through our virtual assistant, MOCA, or submit a case via My Account. so they know this is still happening and can investigate it further.

    Isaiah_C​ Thanks for looking. The first thing I did was create a support ticket, 03160893

    The ticket was ignored and closed 2 weeks after opening it without a response

    Hi Domcar,

     

    Thanks for coming back to us, and I’m really sorry your earlier case was closed without any response.

    Please try to create a support case again and provide all the information there so the team can further check why the payment still went through even though Online Payments had already been turned off.
