MYOB automatically adds 38 hours to Base Hourly when you make any changes to employee card

We have been having the same issue for years. Any time we open an employees card and make a change to anything, it automatically adds 38 hours to their base hourly pay. As a result it is not uncommon for it to be missed and therefore employees are overpaid. 

 

We have an integration with Deputy, prior to Deputy we were using Humanforce. It was happening with Humanforce and it still happens with Deputy...so pretty sure it's MYOB. Any help with this would be appreciated, at this stage it's looking like this is one of the final nails in the coffin for MYOB and we'll be moving to Xero if not fixed.
