Hi Sam0103,
Great question! You’re almost there, you’ll just need to set up the second authoriser correctly.
Anyone who needs to create or authorise super payments will need their own access to the MYOB file. Please note that we don’t recommend sharing login details, even with your teammates. Once their access is set up, they’ll be able to jump in and authorise payments whenever they need to.
Cheers,
Princess

Hi Princess,
After setting this up and then amending my role from Creator to Authoriser, it still asks to confirm that any Authorisers or Pay Super Administrators selected are signatories to the business bank account. What if I am not a signatory, but have authorisation?

Hi Element,
If you're not actually a signatory on the business bank account, I wouldn’t recommend confirming that you are just because you have internal approval. For Pay Super, the initial sign-up still needs to be completed by a business owner or director who is also a signatory to the business bank account, and then other users can be added as Authorisers or Pay Super Administrators. If you do have authority to act for the business but you're not a bank signatory, the best next step would be to have an authorised contact or signatory complete the update, or have the Pay Super authority changed. Only a business owner or Online Admin, together with a verified Pay Super Administrator, can update Pay Super roles online. If there isn’t currently a Pay Super Administrator set up, the authority needs to be updated through the Pay Super Change of Details form.
Also, under the current Pay Super process, the person signing a Change of Details request doesn’t need to be a director, but they do need to be appropriately authorised to act on behalf of the business, and one authorised contact signature is enough. So in short, if you’re authorised internally but not a bank signatory, don’t confirm that you’re a signatory. You’d need the right authorised contact or signatory to complete that part.
Regards,
Sai
