Reporting Index Bug - Entitlements

There is a calculation discrepancy between the Entitlement Balance Summary report and the employee Card File Payroll Details as at 28/09/2026.



  1. Card File Balance: Shows a Total Available Balance of 332.000 hours (0 Carry Over + 452 YTD - 120 Balance Adjustment).

 

2.Entitlement Report Balance: Shows 452.000 Available Hours. The report appears to pull the YTD figure directly without deducting the negative 120 hour Balance Adjustment.

 

Standard Annual Leave Accrual categories match across both views. Could a moderator please assist in escalating this reporting issue?

    Hi Mike88,

     

    Thanks for the breakdown. Don’t worry, this happens sometimes. A mismatch between the employee card and the entitlement report usually pops up when balances are adjusted manually on the card itself. 

     

    The card file and the summary report pull from two different back-end locations. Tweaking the balance on the card only changes the visual total, it doesn't create a real payroll record. Meanwhile, the report only counts hours from actual processed pay history. To get them matching again, you'll need to remove that manual balance adjustment and record a void pay run to adjust the hours instead.
