Hi Row78,
Sorry for the late reply, and thanks for sharing the error code. That does add a few extra steps on your side, especially with needing to go back through the process again.
That error usually means the SMSF details listed for the employee is worth double-checking, to make sure it’s still correct and active. I know going through the process again can take a bit of time. In this case, the payment will need to be reversed and then processed again once the details have been updated. You'll need to recreate the SMSF again, as existing SMSFs can't be edited. For more info, you can follow this link for the steps on how to reprocess the payment transaction.
Cheers,
Princess

Hi Princess,
I have the same issue. And I have recreated the SMSF again.
Question:
- does it mean the whole batch is failed, and I need to reverse and reprocess the whole transaction for all employees
- the error message says ' wait for a refund' ? Has it already drawn money from the bank account? I can't see it in my bank apps yet. If so, would the refund be just to that one employee, or all employees?
Thank you
KL

Hi VI0000,
If the super payment has failed, that doesn’t automatically mean the whole batch has failed. A handy thing to know is that reversing a Pay Super transaction reverses each of the contributions within that transaction, but it doesn’t change your employees’ pays. It also doesn’t affect your actual bank account or the employees’ super funds. What it does is return those contributions back to the Pay Superannuation window along with the other unpaid contributions. You can check this link for more info about reversing super payments. If you can’t see the money withdrawn from your bank account yet, that usually means it hasn’t been debited yet. The tricky bit is that it depends on whether the failure is for all employees in the batch or just one employee. Since that part matters for what you do next, it’s best to reach out to our support team via the Contact Us page so they can check exactly which employee’s super payment has failed and guide you on the right next step.
Cheers,
Doreen
