Super Payments from July 1

If paying super payments through the myob portal, is it necessary to change to a super fund from July 1 to make future payments?

Hi KimP,
You’re on the right track getting ready before 1 July. The main change is that super needs to be paid at the same time as your pay runs, and the contribution need to reach the super fund within 7 business days. Which super fund the payment goes to will still depend on each employee’s nominated fund and your business setup. So it’s mostly about double-checking their details and that your Pay Super setup is ready to go before you start making super payments. For more info, check out this link.
